Contact us today to discuss your recruiting needs.Engaging on GroundsCompany Briefings Company Briefings are a formal 45-minute presentation (including Q&A) for you to network with students, communicate your company’s culture and market job opportunities. Company Briefings are scheduled when First Years are not in class or sometimes during dedicated recruiting days. Dedicated recruiting days allow more time for companies to schedule additional brand-building opportunities in conjunction with a Company Briefing. Target Audience: First Years Office HoursOffice Hours are a less formal way to provide students and company representatives the opportunity to connect and engage. Office Hours can either be a drop-in or sign-up format. Drop-in Office Hours are held in public spaces around Darden where students can come and go over a scheduled period of time. Sign-up Office Hours are held in a reserved space and each company representative is paired with 2–4 students during each time slot. Students are pre-registered for time slots and companies are provided the registration list in advance.Target Audience: First Years, Second Years, Executive MBA studentsNetworking receptions (previously networking nights)A Networking Cocktail Reception is a targeted event for any company interested in networking with students in a more casual setting. These receptions are held in the PepsiCo Forum. Drinks and appetizers are provided. Companies are also provided high-top, cocktail roundtables with signage. Target Audience: First Years, Second Years, Executive MBA studentsCost: $450 Second Year Lunch & LearnA Second Year (SY) Lunch & Learn is an opportunity for SY or Executive MBA students to engage in a more intimate setting. These lunches are designed to provide students and companies an opportunity to discuss full-time job opportunities, network and engage prior to the SY interview schedule in October. Lunches are set up in Abbott Center Dining and are an hour and a half in length. Sign ups are made available and student attendee lists are provided in advance.Target Audience: Second Years, Executive MBA studentsCost: At cost, based on number of attendees Darden Career Fair (NEW!)The Darden Career Fair is a new three-day event this year. Companies have the option to participate in the entire Darden Career Fair, which grants them access to all events listed below for one cost of $1,500 over the three-day time period or select events a la carte (costs and events defined below). The Darden Career Fair will provide opportunities for companies to brand and engage students with their job opportunities early in the recruiting process. This event will provide targeted events for companies to interact with different student populations. Each company who signs up for this event will receive logo placement on any materials that are created for the event, social media promotion, targeted messaging to students about your job opportunities and more.Date: 13-15 September 2018Target Audience: First Years, Second Years, Executive MBA studentsCost: $1,500First Year Career FairThe Career Fair will be open for FY students to engage and network with companies. It is a great branding opportunity for companies early in the recruiting season and allows students to get to know each organization and opportunity in more detail prior to additional recruiting events over the course of the fall. This session will be approximately three hours. Each company will be provided a six-foot table and space for two stand-up banners. Date: 14 September 2018Target Audience: First YearsCost: $500Second Year Career FairAn additional hour will be provided prior to the start of the FY Career Fair for companies to target SY and Executive MBA students only. The first hour will be available to SY and Executive MBA students looking at full-time opportunities to engage and network prior to resume submissions and interviews in October.
